Vampiress Review: "Chinese Speaking Vampires"

The Gist: An actor who has to learn mandarin for a role in a movie ends up taking a night class which is a cover for a Chinese vampire who is turning his students to create an un-dead army. 

Female Vampire Factor: There are two main female characters in the film and both are eventually turned very early in the film.  The first student to be turned in the entire film is Reika (June Lee)

She initially struggles with learning the language and the vampire teacher Master Ya asks her to stay after class.  He then explains to her that he has a way to teach her Manderin instantly before biting her. 

After being turned Reika seeks out her best friend Susie (Daniela Brown).

When she finds her she coerces her back into the school building before cornering her to bite and turn her. 

Suzie is the woman who the main protagonist in the film Tony is obsessed with trying to date.  Once she's turned she uses the opportunity to appear in his bedroom knowing he won't resist inviting her in. 

Obviously due to his obsession with her she has no problem being able to bite him and turn him.

 By mid movie the master has a classroom full of vampires

 

Final Opinion: This film is very corny but is actually pretty entertaining. The overall story is a good vampire vs evil vampire one where the main characters after being turned seem to be the only ones with free will enough to not go with the masters plan to take over Los Angeles and end up fighting against him.  Occasionally they fall back under his control but the paired up couples attraction to each other magically frees them from his control in those situations.  I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 4 out of 5.  After the initial turnings it becomes a full on martial arts film so the vampirism becomes secondary but it's still a functional film none the less.

Vampiress XXX Review: "Heroine Domination Death Hell: The end of the Vampire"

The Gist: A sword wielding vampire super heroine wages a battle with an evil female vampire and her brood.

Female Vampire Factor:  Your vampire super-heroine is played by Sayuri Ichimatsu

 In this film she faces off with a larger blonde female vampire who also has a henchwoman with her who dresses in a very corporate look.

For those who are new to the Japanese super heroine style films they're easily summed up as cosplay torture porn. Generally the hero gets dominated by the villain which leads to lots of molesting.  The sexy hench woman in this one gets plenty of fang time prior to being offed which is great since in my opinion she's the hottest female in the movie.

There's also an even sexier scene in which the villain after dominating the hero feeds on her.

Then after she's overcome with blood lust blindfolds her then strips and force feeds her friend to her.

To add insult to injury after she finally one ups and kills all the villains our hero ends up being staked through the heart by a vampire hunter when she isn't looking.

Final Opinion: I have absolutely no complaints about this film.  It's straight and to the point with the vampires being feral monsters which is always a plus for me.  I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 5 out of 5. These kinds of films are hit or miss but this one was definitely on the better end of the entertainment spectrum.

Vampiress XXX Review: "Antique Box"

The Gist:  A group of young adults take a trip to a remote area when a witch possesses the body of one of the young women in order to sacrifice the men of the group.

Female Vampire Factor:  So this is pretty straight forward.  A girl gets possessed and seduces guys

After some pretty hot sex her nails grow she spouts fangs then proceeds to maul the men then bites their necks

She is shown in her true form a few times but she never fangs out that way.   Vampirism only happens during her possession of the young lady.

Final Opinion:  This is a Thai softcore porn that tries to have a storyline.  By that meaning there is way too much going on in a film that's supposed to be mostly sex.  The main vamp is very attractive though.  I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 3 out of 5.

Vampiress XXX Review: "Devil Lady Vampire"

The Gist: A vampire disguised as a prostitute lours men to her layer for blood and sex. 

Female Vampire Factor: The Jav idol for this film is Hatano Yui. Basically it's a straight forward fem dom film that is broken down into three scenes.  In the first we see her seduce and man and bring her down to her home. 

 That's where she puts on her cloak and transforms into her vampire form.

She then proceeds to tie him down and her her way with him biting him along the way well concentrating on a lot of oral and hand sex.  Basically she feeds on his cum.

In the next scene we find that she has 3 men tied up and handcuffed who she proceeds seduce and milk as well.

In the final scene she has sex with a man who seems to be turning into a werewolf.

Final Opinion: This one unlike most isn't really storyline based so the selling point is basically Yui's outfits and seeing her with fangs.  No real complaints there so I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 5 out of 5.

Vampiress Review: "Beautiful Vampire"

The Gist:  A vampire who works as a makeup artist has trouble controlling her bloodlust around her landlords son.

Female Vampire Factor:  Ran (Jung Yeon-Joo) is a 500 year old vampire who lives life as a makeup artist.  One day a young man comes to her shop in need of getting makeup done for an audition as he is an inspiring actor.

When Ran gets close to him the scent of his blood reminds her of someone from her past resulting in her losing control.  The first time they meet she almost bites him but her landlord comes in just in time though she believes (as does he) that her intentions were to make a move on him and not drink his blood.

The landlord doesn't like this and her and Ran make a deal that if she stays away from her son she'll get a discount on her rent.

 This is easier said than done as he develops feelings for her and won't leave her alone and it becomes harder and harder for her to resist his sent.

Final Opinion: The "well rounded female vampire obsessed with the human that she needs to avoid that leads to weird interactions" romcom is something that is pretty common place in Asian film and TV and this film doesn't add anything new to it.  This is definitely more romance comedy than it is horror which in all honesty this has zero horror elements.  Ran does not show fangs in the film and there is only one bite scene.   I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 1 out of 5.

Vampiress Review: "Hello Ms Vampire Part 1"

The Gist: A vampire is trying her best to live a normal life and attend school but her life is turned upside down when the vampire who turned her along with a group of evil vampires that are after him enter her life.

Clarification:  Basically you have a girl at school who is trying to fit in.  Ironically she has a roommate who is obsessed with both vampires and social media and often walks around in vampire fangs.  All the while she is doing everything she can to not feed.

Selling Point: Basically an action movie but with fangs.

Female Vampire Factor: First you have the main character.  Throughout the film she's in situations where she has to hold her bloodlust back.  This only results in her eyes turning red.

That is until the films final fight seen where her fangs do finally come out.

Next you have the female of the evil vampires.  She flashes her fangs quite often given that she's evil and we see her feed on humans multiple times.

She also spends the entire movie dressed like a leather clad Laura Croft.

Finally the main characters roommate.  She's not actually a vampire but as mentioned above she is vampire obsessed and does wear fangs occasionally.

When she finds out her roommate is a vampire her reaction was to get super excited and beg her to bite her.

I like the concept even if it seems like something that would happen on a seasons of the Vampire Diaries.  I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 4 out of 5.

Vampiress Review: "Hello Mr Vampire"

The Gist: A girl goes to Germany to study and learns the story of an Asian princess who falls in love with a vampire.

Clarification: Basically the story is a fairy tale.  An Asian woman is arranged to be married to a prince.  Problem is she doesn't really like the guy.  On top of that because of a mark on the back of her neck she constantly has dreams of a German count.  The thing is these aren't dreams as the mark is actually giving her memories of his long dead lover.  When they finally meet they fall for each other but as you would imagine the man she's already promised to and her father are completely against it and plan to take the vampire out one way or another.

Biggest Complaint: Unless you like films like Twilight, stay clear.

Female Vampire Factor: The only females with fangs in this one are in a scene where the German count has a "vampire themed costume party".   They are seen openly feeding on guests in a quick montage.

Other than this quick scene the count is the only vampire in the film.  I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 2 out of 5.  This is your basic romantic style art film aimed at the female viewer.  That means not much eye candy.

Vampiress Review: "Vampire Warriors"

The Gist:  A vampire slayer must save her vampire best friend and her family from a vampire who feeds on other vampires.

Clarifications:  So the main character of the film is a girl named Ar.  Ar is a vampire slayer but she only kills vampires that harm humans which explains her close "friendship" with a vampiress named Max (quotes because the alternate title to this film is "Lesbian Vampire Warriors").  Max and her family are vegetarian vampires which in this case means they only feed on animal blood so they are no danger to humans (though they do wonder what it's like occasionally including a scene where they get hungry over smelling a womans period). 

One day a vampire comes to town named Mung who only feeds on other vampires.  This is fine and dandy until Mung sets his sites on Max and her family and Ar will and does do anything to protect Max. This film fits into the martial arts/horror comedy genre.

Selling Point: Pretty much every female in the film is a vampire.

Female Vampire Factor: The main female vamp in the film is Max (Chrissie Chau)

Due to her being a vegetarian vampire her and her family vamp out the least if at all.  Basically it only happens when she's angry toward the films end.

So (Pinky Cheung)

Ar's sister who was a vampire hunter until Mung turned her and has held her captive.

Spoiler Alert

Ar (Luxia Jang)

In order to defeat Mung, Ar convinces Max to turn her in order to make it an even fight.

On top of those there are several nameless vamps, mostly of the evil kind that make appearances in order to be either Stake Fodder for Ar or a meal for Mung.

I don't have too many complaints about this film so it gets a Vampire Beauty Rating of 5 out of 5.  It's a martial arts film first and a horror last (if you can even call it that) but it works.
