Vampiress Review: "Alucard"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1414352/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast

The Gist: It's a shot for Shot remake of the 1992 Francis Ford Coppola film.

Clarification: I've heard the film makers of this get very defensive if people say the above statement but watching the film it's pretty obvious.  It's portrayed as a "modern take" of the Dracula story but "modern" in this case just means "don't have the budget to make a proper period piece".  With that being said as knock off films go this is a VERY GOOD ONE.  If you go into this film realizing what you're going to watch you should be pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail put into it.

Selling Point: A very good tribute to one of the most accurate Dracula films ever made.

Female Vampire Factor:  Well the 1992 film was one of the best when it came to this so no different here.

You've got the brides played by Sarah Mark, Tamara Nadan, & Whisper Nicole (bare breasts included)

Then Lucy Westenra played by Mariah Smith

and finally Mina Murray played by Rebecca Taylor
Basically when it comes down to it if you're in it for just the story then there is better higher budget versions of this story but if you're looking for alternates (IE in the case of this blogs readers different hot women with fangs doing the same stuff the other hot chicks with fangs did) I highly recommend this.  Vampire Beauty Rating of 4 out of 5.

Vampiress Review: "Lifeforce"

The Gist: After a space expedition brings back the body of an alien species in stasis, it wakes up and begins stealing the life force of every human it comes across turning them into creatures themselves.

Clarification:  Even though by definition a creature like this should be designated as a Succubus the fact that their natural form is in fact a giant bat like creature does qualify it as a vampire.

Selling Point: Apparently a wardrobe for Mathilda May was not in the budget as she spends 95% of the film walking around naked (not that I'm complaining).

Female Vampire Factor:  So your vampire in the film is played by the very sexy and very naked Mathilda May
You would think they would be much more careful when it came to some alien creature you run into but when a crew of men in space come across this.
You can't really blame them for the whole "oooh boobs, lets take it back to the ship with us" mindset.

Like the very similar succubus she feeds via sucking out her victims life force through mouth contact.  In other words french kissing to death.  This means that she may be a version of the same species of vampire like in the film "Female Vampire" who steals her victims life force through the genitals (oral sexed to death).
This is a great horror film.  She does have the ability to turn others and the film gives you an uneasy feeling as by the end you no longer know who is a vampire and who isn't.   Mathilda herself doesn't say a word in the film which is both super hot (because she's naked) while also giving you a feeling of uneasiness. I give it a Vampire Beauty Rating of 5 out of 5.  Lack of fangs did not hurt this film one bit.

Vampiress Review: "Vampire Femmes"

The Gist: Three beautiful vampires take in a woman who's running away from her abusive husband.

Clarification:  Well the gist is the only storyline that's actually "watchable".  This is one of those low budget films where it seems like it was completely written on the fly with the film makers throughout filming going "you know what else we could do"?  Fact is this movie is TERRIBLE.  The budget consisted of cheap lingerie, cheap fangs, a smoke machine,  a cap gun, a camcorder, Halloween decorations and light filters which tint the few scenes you can actually see in odd colors.  The acting is laughably bad which isn't helped by the nonsensical logic free story structure.  Basically if this film was made today it would be done by teenagers on Youtube.

Selling Point: Just when you think you've had enough the character Jezabel (who spends most of the film half naked anyway) strips totally nude and has a sex scene.

Female Vampire Factor:  There's four total which adds up to every female in the cast.  First you have the three main vampires Medea (Roxanne Coyne), Jezebel (Heather Branch) and Persephone (Popi Ardisson).
Finally you have the cops estranged wife they take in who gets turned by the end of the film Mary (Michelle Bousquet).
So I'm going to go ahead and state the obvious in that the film "Vampz: Sistaz in Blood" basically ripped this film off from beginning to end.  The thing is, that film is miles better in presentation to this one which isn't very watchable at all. I gave Vampz a 5 out of 5 and I'm giving this one a Vampire Beauty Rating of 2 out of 5.  This is pretty much the bottom of the barrel when it comes to these types of cookie cutter low budget "three female vampires vs men" films.
