Vampiress Anime Review: Todd McFarlanes Spawn

Hunter's Moon

Season 3

Episode 4

Todd McFarlane's Spawn was an adult animated series which aired on the HBO premium cable network from 1997-1999 based on the comic book series of the same name.  The series followed a man who after death was resurrected as a demon type superhero who collected souls while struggling with memories of his old human life.

In this episode a girl named Lilly shows up in town who seems on the service to be a sweet and innocent girl.

but by the episodes end we find out that not only is she not a sweet an innocent girl but she is in fact a vampire sent to kill Spawn in an effort to repent for her own deeds from when she was alive.

Spawn eventually ends up killing her by exposing her to sunlight during a fight. Unfortunately, this would be her one and only appearance.  She would definitely be a character I would like to see more of.  Being that she was one and done we don't even get a decent cosplay community for her but at least with the help of AI we can at least draw up what it would look like.

Vampiress Review: "Love Bites: The Reluctant Vampire"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107448/

The Gist: A vampire dormant for centuries is awakened in modern day New York to find his home occupied by a woman having life issues and together they attempt to restore his humanity.

Clarification: This is one of those "person in an awkward situation" comedies where the guy from a different century learns about modern day.  To be honest there are a ton of similarities between this film and the Tim Burton comedic remake of Dark Shadows that starred Johnny Depp from 2012.  In fact that movie is more of a remake of this one than it is of the dramatic Dark Shadows series it was named after (though this is the far superior of the two which doesn't say much).

Selling Point: As said above it is a more watchable version of what Tim Burton was attempting with his Dark Shadows movie.

Female Vampire Factor: When I say the stories between this and the failed Dark Shadows remake are similar I mean it.  With that said there's only one female vampire and she plays the part represented by Angelique in Dark Shadows.  In this case her name is Norissa.  She is the vampire who originally turned the lead vampire of the film Zachary Simms and she doesn't take too kindly to his new love interest Kindall Gordon helping him become human again so she joins up with Kindalls ex Dwight to help break the two apart.
The bad news is Norissa does not have fangs (she explains in one biting scene that she actually does but they're "tiny"),  The good news is she rocks a sexy vampire secretary look (she works in politics now is the running joke) and is played by a young Michelle Forbes whose most recent claim to fame was as the sexy Maenad cougar Maryann Foster on True Blood.
Other than that bit of vamp trivia there isn't much else to say.  While it's better than the film that mimics it you'll find way better films in the vampire romantic comedy genre.  I give the film a Vampire Beauty Rating of 2 out of 5.

Vampiress XXX review: "The Vampires"

The Gist: 5 Random scenes featuring vampire related sex

Clarification:  The gist pretty much says it all.  This European DVD features 5 unrelated scenes in which the premise is pretty much vampires having sex, no plot, no dialogue just dark moody sex scenes featuring a mostly British cast.

Selling Point: 3 of the 5 scenes revolve around female vampires

Female Vampire Factor:  The vampiress cast is Lolly Badcock and Diana Doll
In the first scene of the film a vampire (Lolly Badcock) appears in the bedroom of a sleeping woman (Renee Richards) for some girl on girl action.

In Scene 4 a female vampire (Diana Doll) shows a guy the time of his life.

and in Scene 5 the female vamps from the two previous scenes have a lesbian vamp affair when Diana greets Lolly as she wakes from her coffin.

The fact that there is no actual dialogue doesn't actually take away from the film as that along with the soft lighting gives it more of a romantic feel than your average hardcore porn.  Also the vampires in the scene are your seductive style which is a definite plus for me.   With that being said the film is pretty hot so it gets a Vampire Beauty ratings of 5 out of 5.
